The Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is diving deep into blogger outreach at its next workshop. A top blogger in the creative industry – Darryl Ohrt from BrandFlakesforBreakfast.com – will offer pr pros his insights and tips for sharing messages and products with online thought leaders. The press release is dead, so you’d better learn how to navigate the digital landscape without annoying the bloggers you’re trying to engage as champions of your agenda. Darryl Ohrt is prime minister of awesome at Humongo, a digital creative agency in Danbury. He blogs and writes for AdAge online, too. This workshop is $20 for PRSA members, $30 for non members, and $10 for students. Pay at the door. A friendly reminder: If you register and don’t show, you will be invoiced.
