Join the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce for our monthly Councils & Conversation on the topic “Changes in CT Employment Law” on Wednesday, July 27th, from 8am to 9:30am, in person at Chatham Place at Mary Wade (138 Clinton Avenue, New Haven, CT 06513.)

 

For this C-Squared we will focus on recent state and federal legislation impacting the workplace including:

  • Expansions of the Connecticut Fair Employment Practices Act
  • New Requirements Related to Employees who are Victims of Domestic Violence
  • New prohibition on captive audience meetings/31-51q expansion
  • Paid FMLA leave/CTFMLA protections
  • Recreational marijuana job protection
  • Amendments under federal law related to forced arbitration in sexual harassment
