New Haven, CT (April 11, 2011) - The Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA SCC) invites professionals in communications, marketing, public relations and other similar disciplines to a discussion about branding with a panel of senior communications professionals from Subway. Participants will learn how a focus on branding and messaging helped make Subway the largest restaurant chain in the world. Panelists Michele DiNello, Director of Corporate Communications, Kevin Kane, Public Relations manager, and Michelle Cordial, Director of Marketing Development will provide a behind the scenes look at Subway’s rapid growth.

 

The program will take place on April 26, 2011 at the Subway Conference Center, 305 Bic Drive in Milford, Connecticut. Networking and registration starts at 11:30 a.m. The program will start at 12:00 p.m. and last until 1:30 p.m.; cost is $15 for PRSA SCC members; $20 for non-members; and $5 dollars for students. The Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America was formed to advance the public relations profession and the PR professional. The chapter represents a diverse group of mid- to senior-level professionals who are committed to enhancing the practice of public relations in Southern Connecticut. Professionals in the chapter represent advertising agencies, independent consultants, business and industry, government, hospitals and health care organizations, professional associations, education and nonprofit organizations. The chapter also has an association with the Quinnipiac University Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). With more than 31,000 members, PRSA is the largest organization of public relations professionals and students.
