Event Description

Sikorsky, United Technologies, and Teamsters Local 1150 will sponsor the 5th Annual Homerun for Heroes Bridgeport Bluefish Baseball Game on Saturday, August 29, 2015, to benefit military Veterans organizations in Connecticut, including Columbus House's Homefront Initiative for homeless Veterans. The game will take place at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard, 500 Main St., Bridgeport, CT. Festivities, including a helicopter fly-in and post-game fireworks display, begin at 5pm. Local sports legends Bobby Valentine and Nick Giaquinto will be on hand to sign autographs on the Bluefish concourse.
