On Saturday, June 6, from 6-8 p.m. 70 Leeny Plaza on Audubon Street will be the site of the Arts Council of Greater New Haven’s 50th Anniversary Party. The party follows the festivities of the family arts celebration Audubon Arts On The Edge which ends at 5p.m. Audubon Street will remain pedestrian-only for the duration of the party.
The 60s themed party celebrates the decade of the Arts Council’s founding, and will feature music by 60’s Satisfaction as well as a record listening lounge, a groovy game room and Fashionista photo-op. Delegnas will provide their trademark dinner and dessert pizzas and party-goers will experience a signature cocktail created by mixologist Tim Cabral of Ordinary inspired by the decade. There will also be craft beer from New Haven's Erector Brewing Collective. Retro attire encouraged.
Tickets are $35 for Arts Council Members and $50 for non-members. Tickets may be purchased by contacting the Arts Council at (203) 772-2788, and online through newhavenarts.org/celebrate-50-years-of-the-arts-council
The birthday bash is sponsored by First Niagara.
