Fourth Annual Winter Clothing giveaway, We will be offering ONLY new and slightly used coats, hats, gloves and socks to those in need in New Haven. There will be items for men, women, and children. We will be accepting items from October 30 until December 7. DONATIONS can be dropped off at Summit Drive In Cleaners, 219 Union Av., New Haven. LISC partner GRID Alternatives has been awarded a $249,800,000 Solar for All grant from the EPA to advance renewable and clean energy sources for affordable housing communities across the country. “The grant is an incredible boon to the movement to decarbonize homes and lower energy costs that burden millions of everyday Americans,” said Michael T. Pugh, president and CEO of LISC.
