2015)—–Somewhat Off the Wall, a unique art exhibition and party
that lets guests choose and take home original works of art, will be held on Saturday, September 12,
2015 from 5-9pm at The Gallery at EleMar, 99-107 Shelton Avenue, New Haven.
The evening is part art exhibition, part annual party, and part gallery shopping event.
This year’s event features drawings, jewelry, paintings, wood, pottery, and prints by 49 outstanding artists
who have each donated three pieces of their work. These works will be on display to the public starting
August 31st. At 7pm on the night of the party, numbered premium tickets will be drawn at random. As
each premium ticket holders’ number is called, he or she will select a piece of original artwork to take
home. Each of the 49 participating artists will be given a premium ticket making only 98 premium tickets,
at $100 each, available to the public. An unlimited number of tickets to the party are available for $45
(these do not include artwork). Also available is a special “30 and under” party ticket for $35.
