The 2010 Honorable Robert C. Zampano for Excellence in Mediation Award

Please mark your calendars and join us on June 10, 2010, at the Graduate Club from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

In memory of U.S. District Court Judge Robeert C. Zampano, a pioneer in mediation and alternative dispute resolution, this award recognizes and celebrates leadership, initiative and creativity in mediation in Connecticut.

The honorees will be:

Attorney Richard Bieder, Esq, who was an early adopter of mediation and encouraged engagement among the top tier lawyers, beginning with the L'Ambiance Plaza case.

Magistrate Judge Holly Fitzsimmons, Esq., who enables and encourages the use of mediation in cases from the federal court in Bridgeport.

EPA Awards GRID Alternatives Solar for All Grant

LISC partner GRID Alternatives has been awarded a $249,800,000 Solar for All grant from the EPA to advance renewable and clean energy sources for affordable housing communities across the country. “The grant is an incredible boon to the movement to decarbonize homes and lower energy costs that burden millions of everyday Americans,” said Michael T. Pugh, president and CEO of LISC.
