It is best to sign-up as early as is possible. Call Community Action Agency at (203) 387-7700- ext 193. Leave your name and phone number; speak slowly and clearly; tell them when is the best time to call you back. You may also call the New Haven Health Dept at (203) 946- 2227. Follow the same guidelines. If you cannot communicate clearly in English, tell them your preferred language so that someone who speaks your language will call you back. Please DO NOT WAIT UNTIL MARCH 31, 2014 to call up. There is a penalty for not having health coverage.
