Community, Nonprofits and Businesses sharing Information
On Tuesday, November 25 at 10:30 AM in City Hall, Mayor Toni N. Harp and other notable public officials will promote small business in the city by proclaiming Saturday, November 29, 2014 as “Small Business Day” in New Haven. After the press event, the public will be invited to join her and other public officials on a guided walk across the Green, down Chapel Street, and then up York Street to Broadway to call attention to a number of new retailers that recently have opened their businesses in New Haven. After a reception on Broadway, the Mayor then will conclude her tour by returning to Chapel Street to visit and express her appreciation to several small businesses for their longstanding commitment to New Haven.
