Event Description

Women discretely talk about body image concerns with close friends or with no one at all! This breakfast will highlight the truth about what beautiful health looks likes from the inside out, despite the size jeans you wear. Our special guest, a naturopathic doctor from Trumbull Connecticut will help expand our knowledge of what many of us perceive as healthy and beautiful from a holistic perspective.

Guest Speaker: Dr. Dorette Lewis-Senior is a Naturopathic Doctor and Acupuncturist whose practice focuses on women's health.

In the Mississippi Delta, a Police Chief Who Wears Many Hats

The city of Greenville, MS sits on the banks of the Mississippi River, at the heart of the agricultural Delta. It is also a birthplace of the Civil Rights movement, where community leaders and residents are carrying on the fight for social and economic justice in the long-underinvested region. As part of our celebration of Black History Month, we are highlighting the work of Greenville’s chief of police, Delando Wilson, who partners with LISC in his wide-ranging efforts to build a safer, more prosperous and racially equitable Greenville.
