Writer’s Workshop

  • June 25th – July 6th (*No camp on July 4th) 
  • Open to students entering grades 5 – 12
  • 9AM – 3PM
  • $725 for two weeks of camp

Join us this June for Writer’s Workshop! This two-week summer camp will introduce young writers to the fundamentals of playwriting. Through daily workshops with Long Wharf Theatre staff members, writers will unlock their creativity, explore different playwriting genres, and bring their original plays to life. Campers will receive individual feedback on their work throughout the two weeks. Camp culminates in a public showcase of campers’ work for family and friends.

EPA Awards GRID Alternatives Solar for All Grant

LISC partner GRID Alternatives has been awarded a $249,800,000 Solar for All grant from the EPA to advance renewable and clean energy sources for affordable housing communities across the country. “The grant is an incredible boon to the movement to decarbonize homes and lower energy costs that burden millions of everyday Americans,” said Michael T. Pugh, president and CEO of LISC.
