Event Description

Rocky Corner Cohousing is like no other neighborhood in Connecticut!
We are Connecticut's first cohousing community.  This presentation will include a brief overview of co-housing in general as well as in-depth info about Rocky Corner.  Live your values: conservation, sustainability and community on an organic farm only 15 minutes from New Haven. 
Following the presentation we will have a tour of the land and the homes and common house being constructed.  Come see our new model home - last few homes are for sale now!
We will meet at 58 Old Amity Rd, Bethany, CT at 10:00am. Wear closed-toe shoes or boots for safety as this is an active construction site.  RSVP to welcome@rockycorner.org.

EPA Awards GRID Alternatives Solar for All Grant

LISC partner GRID Alternatives has been awarded a $249,800,000 Solar for All grant from the EPA to advance renewable and clean energy sources for affordable housing communities across the country. “The grant is an incredible boon to the movement to decarbonize homes and lower energy costs that burden millions of everyday Americans,” said Michael T. Pugh, president and CEO of LISC.
