Event Description

OneWorld Progressive Institute produces educational television programs and community forums that focus mainly on three areas of critical importance to the general community.  These are: Education (at every level); the importance of committed Civic Engagement (the heart of our democracy), and Health Literacy. We strive to focus on all aspects of health literacy - including reducing disparities, improving access to affordable care and relevant information, prevention and promoting well-being.  We invite all those who consider these things important to join us.  Watch our education programs weekly on your public access channels including AT&T Uverse Channel 99, Comcast Channels 10, 15, 18, 26 and 34 (various times).  On Comcast Channel 26 - CTV - in Hamden, New Haven and West Haven, OneWorld programs are scheduled to air at 7-8pm on Sundays.
