New Haven Promise:  Partnerships and Opportunities

The New Haven Promise Program, launched in November 2010, provides qualifying New Haven public school students with the opportunity of financial assistance to attend college...but it's muchmore than that.

In this presentation, find out the role our nonprofit community can play in helping fulfull the Promise to New Haven students.

EPA Awards GRID Alternatives Solar for All Grant

LISC partner GRID Alternatives has been awarded a $249,800,000 Solar for All grant from the EPA to advance renewable and clean energy sources for affordable housing communities across the country. “The grant is an incredible boon to the movement to decarbonize homes and lower energy costs that burden millions of everyday Americans,” said Michael T. Pugh, president and CEO of LISC.
