Event Description

CM is excited to be preparing for its next community conversation, Living in a Gender Inclusive Culture: Parenting, Pronouns, Sexuality, and more!  We have partnered with the Friends Center for Children, and have secured a  diverse group of facilitators. 
Join us at Whitneyville Cultural Commons (Putnum Room), 1253 Whitney Ave., Hamden, CT on September 25, 2018 from 5:30pm-8:30pm for a family-style meal catered by Deli Delish, small and large group discussion, videos, and engaging activities.  All persons 14-26 years of age are FREE.

EPA Awards GRID Alternatives Solar for All Grant

LISC partner GRID Alternatives has been awarded a $249,800,000 Solar for All grant from the EPA to advance renewable and clean energy sources for affordable housing communities across the country. “The grant is an incredible boon to the movement to decarbonize homes and lower energy costs that burden millions of everyday Americans,” said Michael T. Pugh, president and CEO of LISC.
