Event Description

LEAP's Read-In on the Green will feature volunteer readers who will be reading age-appropriate books aloud to small groups of LEAP children and their counselors. City librarians, community leaders, employees of local corporations, and LEAP staff & Board members are among the readers. New Haven Symphony Orchestra’s Instrument Petting Zoo and New Haven Public Library’s ReadMobile will be on site. Members of the press are welcome to pick up a book and read, too! To volunteer, please contact Ronnetta Holmes at Rholmes@leapforkids.org.
