Event Description
Learn the skills necessary to lead and facilitate any discussion. We provide a certified 12-hour facilitation training program (dinner is provided each night) that will allow you to facilitate dialogue discussions in the city on just about any topic: race relations, police/citizen relations, immigration, inter-faith issues, ex-offender transitions into community, and many more. After the training, we even provide volunteer opportunities for those who are interested in co-facilitating dialogues throughout the city as opportunities arise.
You must attend all three sessions to receive a certificate. Training will be held at Community Mediation, 32 Elm Street, 3rd floor. The fee for the training is $250 a person. A $25 non-refundable deposit is required no later than one week prior to the first date of the training.
