The STRIVE employment workshop is based on the idea that a positive attitude and good communication skills are essential tools for assisting individuals in developing a solid foundation from which to launch themselves. Our goal is to empower adults, who have experienced difficulty in securing and maintaining gainful employment, with the capacity to successfully negotiate in today’s job market.

EPA Awards GRID Alternatives Solar for All Grant

LISC partner GRID Alternatives has been awarded a $249,800,000 Solar for All grant from the EPA to advance renewable and clean energy sources for affordable housing communities across the country. “The grant is an incredible boon to the movement to decarbonize homes and lower energy costs that burden millions of everyday Americans,” said Michael T. Pugh, president and CEO of LISC.
