Education Agenda – Should children be allowed to attend school in any district without a penalty being imposed on parents? What about children who live on the border of two school districts? What about children who live with a grandparent parent-time in one school district, and with a parent part-time in another district? What criteria should be used to decide where that child goes to school? This challenge is being faced by many in CT. Should all children be allowed to access the best public education available?
Gwen Samuel, founder of CT Parent Union, fights on behalf of parents and students. Watch her on CTV, Comcast Channel 26, at 8pm on Sept. 15, 2014
