In her new book, Leadership in Turbulent Times, the culmination of five decades of work in presidential history, Pulitzer Prize-winning author and historian Doris Kearns Goodwin tackles this essential question by examining critical lessons from Abraham Lincoln, both Theodore and Franklin Roosevelt, and Lyndon Johnson. Goodwin, “America’s historian-in-chief” (New York Times), shows us how our greatest commanders-in-chief navigated some of the nation’s gravest challenges. Join this eminent chronicler of America’s past for a look at how we’ve overcome huge adversity and what we must do to improve today’s polarized world.
