Join the Commission on Racial and Ethnic Disparity in the Criminal Justice System for a day-long exploration of implicit bias and racial anxiety, and how both shape our perceptions and behavior. The Commission is honored to welcome Rachel Godsil as its keynote speaker to guide this shared learning experience.

Rachel Godsil is a professor of law at Seton Hall University and the co-founder and director of research for the Perception Institute, a national consortium of social scientists, law professors, and advocates focusing on the role of the mind sciences in law, policy, and institutional practices. She is also the author of "The Science of Equality Volume 1: Addressing Implicit Bias, Racial Anxiety, and Stereotype Threat in Education and Healthcare" and A Tale of Two Neighborhoods: Implicit Bias and Environmental Decision-Making, in Implicit Racial Bias Across the Law.
