Connecticut’s Neighborhood Assistance Act, designed to reward certain types of businesses with tax credits for their support of local nonprofits, has been around for about 17 years. Last year, however, substantial changes were made to increase the amount of funds for which a company could seek credits, and to broaden the types of companies that could benefit. Join us as experts from the state Department of Revenue Services and the nonprofit community discuss these changes and explain what they might mean to businesses and nonprofits who perhaps have never participated in the program in the past.
Guest Speakers:
Gary Parrington, CFRE, Executive Director, Mount Saint John
Susan Sherman, Legislative Program manager, Department of Revenue Services
