Back to School will look different this year.
Our world is turned a bit upside down with COVID-19, and with so many unknowns it is normal to feel anxious. But learning how to manage anxiety and decrease stress will help ensure a positive start to the school year for both parents and children.
Participants will learn:
1) How to take care of yourself so you can take care of your kids
2) Signs that your child’s behavior and health is impacted by their worry
3) Four ways to help your child feel safe and in control
4) How to effectively communicate with your child’s school and teachers
Panel Moderator: Chantel Gray, Director of Programs and Family Engagement, Boys & Girls Club of New Haven.
