Join The Arts Council of Greater New Haven at the artists' reception for Perry Obee and J.D. Richey.
The reception is scheduled for Tuesday, January 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend. The show will be on view through the 15th of March, 2013.
This exhibition showcases paintings by both Obee and Richey. According to the Arts Council’s Director of Artistic Services & Programs and curator of this show, Debbie Hesse, the two were paired for this exhibition because it sets up a nice compare and contrast; both are representational artists with painterly styles, yet gravitate towards either interior or exterior spaces.
