How to Live the Artist’s Life: The Arts Council presents Author Paul Dorrell

Continuing our dedication to local artists, we are pleased to present an event at the Whitney Center’s Cultural Arts Center with Paul Dorrell, author of Living the Artist’s Life: Updated & Revised, on Tuesday, November 13^th at 7 p.m. at 200 Leeder Hill Drive in Hamden, south entrance. The event is open to the public at no cost, with free parking.

Dorrell will discuss his book and conduct an abbreviated version of his career workshop, accompanied by a handout with a Q&A session. A book signing will follow his presentation. Dorell opened Leopold Gallery in 1991, and has been advancing artists’ careers on a national level ever since. Learn from his experience and come to this event to take your artistic career to the next level!  

Dorell’s books address a myriad of topics, everything from how to get your work into a gallery, how to handle self-doubt. It is a group show by professional artists that addresses ideas about human consciousness. The gallery is open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 1 to 4 p.m.
